With more than 20 years of experience, Chris Gee has provided digital and social media counsel — particularly in the areas of issues and crisis — to clients from a variety of industries including financial services, technology, energy, food and beverage and healthcare. Chris was most recently Managing Director and Head of Digital Strategy for Burson-Marsteller’s Corporate & Financial Practice, where he advised clients like Walgreens, Colgate-Palmolive, Nestlé Waters, ExxonMobil, The Ford Motor Company and MassMutual. While with Burson, he led numerous digital marketing campaigns and led crisis scenario-planning sessions along with social media war rooms. Prior to joining Burson, Chris had been a digital leader within other agencies like RF Binder, where he provided counsel to a variety of clients including: Chubb, UBS, The Coca-Cola Company, McDonald’s, CVS Health, Cracker Barrel and Dow Chemical. Chris has also been instrumental in helping organizations craft influencer marketing campaigns as well as online reputation management programs. Chris also advises various technology startups and teaches Influencer Marketing courses at General Assembly, a New York-based education company which hosts online and in-person courses on topics such as Web development, digital marketing and data science. He holds a BFA in Graphic Design from The University of the Arts.
