Humza has been with Finsbury since 2010 - joining in London, then moving to Singapore in 2014 to develop the firm’s business in Southeast Asia, and returning to London in October 2016. He has experience advising on high profile transactions, corporate reputational issues and shareholder activism in London and Southeast Asia. His transactional experience includes Glencore’s IPO and subsequent merger with Xstrata, Infinis’ IPO and Schneider Electric’s £3.4bn takeover of Invensys. In terms of working on high profile reputational issues, he has also advised Thailand’s Wind Energy Holding, Royal Bank of Scotland, Starbucks around its corporation tax issues, and Centrica in the context of potential government regulation. His clients have also included Singapore Exchange (SGX), Aviva, Abraaj, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Foxconn, Terra Firma, Experian, Alliance Trust, Activision and Air Liquide. Humza graduated with Honours from the University of Nottingham, where he studied Business Management.
