Andrew Johnson is a Director at Finsbury. He has experience advising clients on a broad range of financial communications issues including M&A, restructuring, shareholder activism, litigation and crisis situations. Previously he was a Vice President at the Glover Park Group, a strategic communications firm and Finsbury partner, where he helped lead the firm’s capital markets practice. Prior to that, he was the Director of Public Relations for Kirkland & Ellis, the international law firm, and a Vice President with The Abernathy MacGregor Group, a financial communications agency. Some of Andrew’s current and former clients include: ABB in the divestment of its power grids business to Hitachi; Cerberus Capital in various transactions including its acquisition of Avon and Staples’s European assets; USAA in the sale of its asset management business to Victory Capital; Sprint on various engagements including its sale to Softbank, hostile defense against DISH Networks and it’s opposition campaign to the proposed AT&T/T-Mobile merger. Mr. Johnson graduated from Miami University (OH) with a degree in History and Business Legal Studies.
