Gladys joined Finsbury from the Hong Kong Association of Banks. Prior to that, she was a financial journalist covering the Greater China banking, asset management and energy sectors in Hong Kong. Her experience in the UK has also left her with an extensive network in the Chinese media and community across the country. Gladys is experienced in advising global financial institutions (BlackRock, Investec Asset Management, Aberdeen, Bank of Singapore, Legal & General Investment Management, Europa Capital), property developers (Sun Hung Kai Properties, Quintain Estates and Development), professional bodies (Institution of Engineering and Technology, Law Society) and governmental bodies (Qatar Investment Authority, HM Revenue & Customs, Mayor of Moscow) which stretch from the UK through Russia to East Asia. Gladys was a visiting fellow in financial journalism at the University of Oxford for which she received a Chevening Scholarship. She holds an MSc in Regulation from the London School of Economics and a BA in translation from Hong Kong Baptist University. She speaks fluent English, Cantonese and Mandarin.
