Kamella joined Finsbury in January 2014 and advises clients in the financial services, housing and development, transport and energy sectors. Current clients include First Group, the Universities Superannuation Scheme and Taylor Wimpey. She previously worked as an adviser to Dan Jarvis MP, first in his capacity as Shadow Culture Minister, focusing on the creative industries, the heritage sector, the tourism industry and the arts, and subsequently as Shadow Justice Minister, including on reform of the Criminal Justice System. Since starting at Finsbury, Kamella has maintained her links with the Labour Party and returned to work for Ed Miliband during the 2015 General Election and a number of former Shadow Ministers during the Leadership election in 2016. Kamella started her career as an organiser for the Labour Party in the South West before becoming a national campaigns adviser in Labour HQ in 2010. She is a law graduate from the University of the West of England.
