Biography

Simon advises clients on campaigns, public policy and communications. Prior to joining Finsbury he was a Special Adviser to the Home Secretary and before that the Chancellor of the Exchequer, where amongst other things he advised the Chancellor on policy towards the media sector. He worked at the centre of the 2015 general election campaign, the 2016 Brexit referendum and the 2017 general election. Prior to that he was Head of the Economic Section in the Conservative Research Department and worked on a series of high profile by-election campaigns while at Conservative Campaign HQ. He began his career at a research unit supporting a group of MPs in Parliament. He studied English and Politics at Cambridge University, graduating with a first.
