Charles Sipkins Joins Finsbury as Partner to Help Drive West Coast Expansion

Industry Veteran Brings Nearly 20 Years of Corporate, Crisis and Financial Communications Experience

New York – June 2, 2016 – Charles Sipkins is joining Finsbury in Los Angeles as a Partner as the firm formally opens a Los Angeles office and enhances its California presence. Finsbury has developed a strong communications practice in the Los Angeles area with a roster of clients in the media, tech and automotive industries, and Mr. Sipkins’ arrival is an important step in taking that work to the next level.

Mr. Sipkins has extensive experience in both agency and in-house communications and a stellar reputation built on handling financial, special situation and litigation support communications and crisis management for boards of directors and senior management. Mr. Sipkins served as Executive Vice President and Chief Communications Officer for Sony Pictures Entertainment Inc., where he oversaw corporate communications as well as communications for its business units. Previously, Mr. Sipkins launched the Los Angeles office of Sard Verbinnen, where as a Managing Director he advised clients across a range of industries including technology, media, transportation, energy and financial services.

Mr. Sipkins also has held positions at The Abernathy MacGregor Group, Fleishman-Hillard and Hill & Knowlton. He has a B.A. in Political Science from Syracuse University.
