Kirsti McCabe is a Managing Director at Finsbury with more than a dozen years of experience in crisis communications, reputation management, financial communications and strategic media outreach. She has experience helping companies work through complex corporate issues, including financial and regulatory issues, mergers and acquisitions, litigation, cybersecurity, leadership transitions, and corporate reorganizations. Kirsti has extensive experience working on CEO and leadership positioning campaigns and developing proactive communications strategies, including strategic positioning, employee and executive communications and thought leadership campaigns.
Prior to joining Finsbury, Kirsti spent 12 years working as a journalist at The Wall Street Journal, WSJ.com and Dow Jones Newswires, including eight years as a foreign correspondent in Shanghai and Hong Kong. She also has lived and worked in Paris, Brussels and Taipei. Kirsti earned a Master’s degree in international affairs from Columbia University and graduated magna cum laude from Tufts University. She speaks fluent French and conversational Mandarin Chinese.
