Ruban has over a decade’s experience advising global businesses. He has helped some of the world’s largest companies integrate sustainability into their equity cases, address ESG issues, strengthen their employer brands, and build stronger relationships with government and civil society. His experience includes $350 billion of announced M&A, crises which received global attention, and successful policy campaigns. Ruban joined Finsbury from BHP, one of the world’s largest resource companies, where he was head of international communications. Prior to that, he worked as a strategic communications consultant in New York and London, and as an M&A analyst at Citi. Ruban has been recognised as one of the UK’s most influential communications executives by PRWeek and City AM. He is a non-executive director of the Museum of Homelessness and studied at Oxford University, Cambridge and the London School of Economics.
