Will Edgar specializes in strategic communications and crisis management, helping clients navigate complex and sensitive issues including litigation communications, executive transitions, public policy and regulatory matters, government investigations, investor relations and transaction communications. He is also experienced in developing and implementing large-scale, proactive corporate reputation initiatives and stakeholder engagement programs. Current and former clients include a broad range of organizations, such as financial services, automotive, energy, and other companies, as well as academic and non-profit institutions. Prior to joining Finsbury, Mr. Edgar served in a variety of government and political communications roles, including as an aide to then-Senator Hillary Clinton’s 2008 Presidential campaign, with responsibilities that included crisis communications messaging, strategy, and response. He also served as Press Secretary to Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, as a communications aide to former President Bill Clinton at the William J. Clinton Foundation, and in various capacities on other national, state and local campaigns. Mr. Edgar is a graduate of Williams College in Massachusetts, where he earned a B.A. in Mathematics and Art.
