Hugo is an Principal in Finsbury’s Political & Regulatory team, having joined the company in 2003. He advises clients on a range of UK and EU policy and regulatory issues, specialising in the transport, media and financial services sectors. His broad experience includes advising BAA, Bombardier, FirstGroup, DMGT, Experian, and Universal Music. Projects at Finsbury have included developing and implementing a new public affairs strategy at a FTSE 50 international company, the award-winning Campaign for Crossrail, helping to secure the Government’s new measures against music piracy and advising on the public affairs aspects of cross-border M&A transactions. Previously he worked in the UK Houses of Parliament as a Researcher for current Northern Ireland Minister, Rt Hon Andrew Robathan MP. He is a politics graduate from Newcastle University.
