Amanda specializes in reputation building programs, crisis and issues management and strategic media outreach. She has significant experience developing and executing multifaceted campaigns that advance business goals with external and internal audiences. Her work has helped companies engage stakeholders, communicate change to employees, build thought leadership positions, shape community programs and navigate public policy, regulatory and litigation developments and issues. Amanda has represented companies in health care, biotechnology, financial services, automotive, consumer goods, entertainment and telecommunications. Prior to joining Finsbury, Amanda spent three years in the U.S. Senate where she was the Deputy Press Secretary for U.S. Senator Arlen Specter. In this position, she managed all daily media relations activities for the Washington, D.C. office and seven Pennsylvania offices. She also assisted with communications efforts related to the Senator’s role as Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee and of the Appropriations subcommittee that oversees federal spending on health care and education. Amanda graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English from Penn State University.
