Humza joined Finsbury in London in 2010, before moving to its Singapore office in 2014. He has experience advising on high profile transactions, corporate reputational issues and shareholder activism in London and Southeast Asia. His transactional experience includes Glencore’s IPO and subsequent merger with Xstrata, Infinis’ IPO and Schneider Electric’s £3.4bn takeover of Invensys. In terms of working on high profile reputational issues, he has also advised Thailand’s Wind Energy Holding, Royal Bank of Scotland, Starbucks around its corporation tax issues, and Centrica in the context of potential government regulation. His clients have also included Singapore Exchange (SGX), Aviva, Abraaj, Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), Foxconn, Terra Firma, Experian, Alliance Trust, Activision and Air Liquide. Humza graduated with Honours from the University of Nottingham, where he studied Business Management.
