Dan is an Associate Partner in the Hong Kong office. He has more than 12 years of marketing communications and journalism experience spanning the financial, corporate and public affairs spaces. This encompasses work with major multinationals across Asia, including roles in Hong Kong and Japan. He has advised top global companies such as: Swiss Re, PAG, Forex.com, MetLife, eBay, Symantec, Casio, ZTE, Juniper Networks and SmarTone (telco). He also worked as the Senior Regional Marketing Manager at Manulife Wealth and Asset Management Hong Kong. Prior to this, Dan was a writer and editor at the Daily Yomiuri and the Japan Times, Japan’s most widely read English-language publications. Before moving to Asia, Dan worked as a communications consultant for the US government in Washington DC, advising agencies such as the Department of Labor and the Department of Homeland Security. Dan has a BA from University of Wisconsin-Madison in Communications and Rhetorical Studies and an MA from Georgetown University's school of Communication, Culture and Technology. He speaks basic French and is conversant in Japanese.
