Rebecca Fitchett joined Finsbury’s Los Angeles office in 2017. She previously spent five years in the firm’s London office, where she co-headed the UK technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) sector team. She specializes in financial communications, crisis communications, corporate reputation building and litigation support, and has advised clients including Sky, NTT DoCoMo, RELX Group, Nokia, Millicom, Rio Tinto, Vedanta Resources and several late stage private tech companies including Ring and Trainline. Her transactional and capital markets experience includes Rio Tinto’s defense against Glencore’s takeover approach, Sky’s acquisition of Sky Deutschland and Sky Italia, the merger of Holcim and Lafarge and the IPO of ConvaTec. Rebecca is also part of Finsbury’s Digital team, advising on corporate online and social media strategies. Prior to joining Finsbury, Rebecca spent four years as a solicitor at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, specializing in antitrust litigation. She holds a law degree from the University of Oxford and is qualified as a solicitor in England & Wales.
